The Resource Development Advisor is responsible for ensuring Temagami First Nation’s and Teme-Augama Anishnabai’s effective participation in resource development on n’Daki Menan, by advocating for their rights particularly in the mineral exploration and development activities. The Resource Development Advisor will support the development of internal policies and procedures to effectively participate in the mining sequence. The Resource Development Advisor will act as a community liaison and resource person to increase awareness of the mineral development sequence and its opportunities. The Resource Development Advisor will support the development of natural resource negotiated arrangements between the Temagami First Nation, Teme-Augama Anishnabai , Provincial and Federal governments, and industry proponents.
The Resource Development Advisor will report to the Lands & Resources Director.
