(Let’s all get together) Health and Safety Workshop

Join the Chippewas of Rama First Nation (CRFN) for a special First Nations Health and Safety Workshop. No matter what stage of the health and safety journey you’re on, this event will help you build valuable safety knowledge. Meet new colleagues who are on the same health and safety journey, and build relationships that will last long after the event providing support and knowledge sharing.

The workshop will include informative sessions on topics including the Canada Labour Code and the CRFN Kawaabandizwin Health and Safety Wheel model. This event has been specifically designed with concurrent sessions for the afternoon portion. One will be focused on hazard management, and is targeted at the administration; the other is formalized networking, including resource and best practice knowledge sharing and is targeted at elected leadership. A sharing circle and informal networking will build and strengthen relationships with likeminded people in our region.

  • Senior Managers such as First Nation Managers and Health Manager
  • Human Resources staff
  • Workplace Health and Safety Committee members
  • Health, Safety and Emergency Management Coordinators
  • Emergency Services staff.
