Awards night for Native grads

SUDBURY – Cameron Debassige of Barrydowne College was a big winner, taking home a new laptop computer from the June 6 Annual Aboriginal Secondary School Awards night for students in the Sudbury-Manitoulin area. Cameron, pictured with Kelly Lee Assinewe  and Al Lekun, Deputy Chief, Greater Sudbury Police Service, was one of 54 graduating students honoured. Over 600 achievement awards were handed out at the ceremony at the Caruso Club.    – By Heather Campbell
