The Honourable Justice Jonathon C. George, an Ojibway of Pottawatomi descent, and citizen and resident of the Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice on June 16, 2016.
A husband and proud father of three, George was called to the Bar in 2001. Following his call, he joined the firm of Robbins, Henderson and Davis in Forest, and acted as legal counsel to the Kettle and Stony Point Chief and Council. He was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice in March 2012.
Justice George takes pride in and is thankful for the opportunities his First Nation community has provided. Being a role model to the youth of The Kettle & Stony Point First Nation is a great honour for him.
