SAULT STE. MARIE, ON—On April 23, Anishinabek Nation 7th Generation Charity (AN7GC) Manager Jason Restoule made his annual visit to Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to review and renew the partnership agreement the two organizations have. The partnership with Quattro in 2018 resulted in a donation to the AN7GC in the amount of $23,823.00.

“Quattro has been an important partner in our Hotel Discount Program for several years now,” says Restoule. “They not only pride themselves on providing First Nation guests with exceptional hospitality, they are also committed to truly understanding and respecting First Nation culture and traditions. This is what makes them a great partner and why the partnership has flourished— it’s about making a positive impact in the community.”

The AN7GC’s Hotel Discount Program is a win-win-win; travellers have the opportunity to save money, hotel partners have the opportunity to provide exceptional service to First Nation travellers and expand their business, and ultimately, the AN7GC is able to provide much needed help to those in need across the Anishinabek Nation.

Details of the program as well as a complete list of participating hotels can be found on the AN7GC’s website.

“It’s great to be able to show everyone how much of a positive impact they can have when travelling leisurely or when choosing where to hold a business meeting or conference,” says Restoule. “On the other side, it’s also a great way to show how relationships between businesses and First Nation organizations can have a positive impact for everyone.”

Each year, the AN7GC receives numerous requests for support. Unfortunately, being a small self-reliant charity with limited funds available, the grants they disburse are limited. Enhanced partnerships like the one the AN7GC has with Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre not only shows the commitment of the hotel to the charity and the First Nation community, but also provides much needed dollars, which in turn, makes a big difference in people’s lives.

So, whether travelling for leisure or on business, save yourself some money and support the AN7GC at the same time by booking at one of their partner hotels… it’s a simple decision that can have a big impact.
