Campus Manager
LOCATION: AEI Munsee-Delaware Campus
Full Time Position with Benefits
(after successfully completing 3 months of employment)
Salary Range: $76,779.09 to $87,016.29
The Campus Manager is responsible for the day-to-day academic and organizational administration and management of the Anishinabek Educational Institute (AEI) Munsee Campus and its resources. This role oversees staff and faculty hiring, program development, program delivery, and institute partnerships to ensure the overall effectiveness and efficiency of campus operations. The position reports directly to the Director of Education and requires close collaboration with the AEI team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a management position;
- Degree or Diploma in Education, Business Administration, Organizational Management, Indigenous Studies, or a related discipline;
- Strong understanding of business management, financial and leadership principles;
- Experience working with a First Nation organization;
- Working knowledge of Indigenous Post Secondary Institutes and Program Delivery;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant computer systems, programs and software) and able to learn new technologies and tools; and
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and be insurable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Administration:
- Prepare project and program updates, status reports, annual reports, and budgets;
- Coordinate the development of training and program proposals, including setting budgets for community-based, certificate, and specialized training programs;
- Monitor campus resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations;
- Develop and implement three-year work plans and budgets in alignment with the AEI business plan; and
- Oversee marketing, promotion, recruitment, accreditation, and partnership activities for AEI programs.
Academic Administration:
- Maintain articulation agreements with partner institutions and explore potential partnerships;
- Expand program delivery options using technology-based models;
- Ensure culturally relevant content and language in programs and services;
- Monitor program evaluations and feedback to improve delivery and student services; and
- Plan and implement program delivery schedules and classroom coordination.
Staff Supervision and Development:
- Supervise and evaluate staff, including orientations, performance reviews, and professional development;
- Review instructor qualifications and recommendations for contracts;
- Promote team-building initiatives and support staff development opportunities; and
- Approve staff schedules, leave requests, and timesheets.
Professional Development:
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and professional development events; and
- Participate and facilitate sessions at staff retreats.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe workplace environment in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
- Facilitate effective communication and relationships with staff, community members, other organizations, and government agencies; and
- Other Duties as assigned.
