Call for Applicants: Summer Studentship in Indigenous Health Research
Health Sciences North Research Institute (HSNRI) and the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for undergraduate and post-graduate students to participate in a summer studentship focused on Indigenous health research.
Position Details:
- Stipend: $6000
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Location: Health Sciences North Research Institute, Sudbury, Ontario
About the Studentship: This studentship offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful health research projects that are developed in collaboration with community partners. The selected student will work under the joint supervision of NOSM faculty and HSNRI staff/physicians, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with community partners and supervisors to identify and develop and conduct a research project.
- Conduct research under the guidance of experienced faculty and staff.
- Participate in regular meetings and progress updates.
- Present findings at the end of the studentship.
Eligibility:

Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student.
- Demonstrated interest in Indigenous health and research.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
